About Howard Salkow
Howard is the President of Bradwick Communications, a McLaren Vale, South Australia-based corporate communications company delivering a comprehensive range of services, which includes all aspects of public relations, strategic marketing and planning, writing and editing, crisis and media management, media training, market research and special events.
After working for a number of years in eastern Canada for a full-service Public Relations company, the Edelman Houston Group (now Edelman PR Worldwide), Howard re-located in Calgary, Alberta (which lies in Western Canada), and decided to establish his own Corporate Communications company called Sedgwick Partners at the time.
Howard discovered a niche in the market and moved on to a number of clients who were not only looking for PR services but specialist services as well such as lecturing, facilitation for strategic planning purposes and event management of international sporting events.
After emigrating to Australia 10 years ago, Howard changed the name of his company to Bradwick Communications. And during this period he has furthered his experience in a number of areas including Tertiary Education, State and Local Government and the non-government sector.
As a former journalist, Howard has been extensively published in South Africa, London, Canada and Australia. He has edited a number of business publications; written numerous features about business leaders; assisted in the compilation of a book to mark the 40th anniversary of the 1969 moon landing which included interviewing Buzz Aldrin; authoring a book on the History of Test Cricket; and contributed to a project that led to a Canadian city being named one of the Top 5 in the country.
Highly regarded for his extensive background in international relations, Howard has earned a reputation as an expert in corporate communications, embracing and extending specific talents in strategic marketing and planning, special events, all aspects of public relations, and crisis and media management.
