It depends on which kind of Brown Rice you comapre it to. If you comapre it to Organic, non-gmo, naturally grown Brown Rice that is thick, hearth, and takes an hour to cook, then Basmati isn\'t as healthy (not as much fiber, mainly) But, if you comapre it to the grocery store brand Enriched Brown Rice, that is fluffy and cooks like a charm, Basmati wins hands down! It\'s a really healthy rice for the flavor/texture. It also doesn\'t take an hour to cook like the good Brown Rice, it\'s more like 30-40 minutes, and is much lighter in comparison. Here, the good healthy brown rice and the Basmati are essentially the same price (expensive both ways, basically) and I think that Basmati is much more versatile, and eatable. I can use it in both Savory & Sweet!
