About Therese Boisvert
Therese is an Administrative Assistant for the Diocese of La Crosse, a Roman Catholic religious organization supporting the faith of Catholics in 19 counties, striving to bring church members closer to each other and Christ through a wide array of events, trainings, information and resources.
With a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Law and Political Science and a Masters Degree in Education & Library Science both from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Therese continued to launch her professional career as an Assistant Medical Librarian for St. Francis Medical Center. Joining Gundersen Lutheran as an Occupational Health Department Specialist in 1989, Therese managed the files of more than 1,500 companies for an impressive 22 years. Following her innate compassion and profound commitment to the Roman Catholic faith, Therese was welcome by the Diocese of La Crosse as an Administrative Assistant to the Moderator of the Curia in 2011.
Currently, Therese draws on her profound knowledge in education and computer systems to provide the Vicar of Clergy support with immigration. Utilizing extensive expertise and experience, Therese also manages two libraries at the Sacred Office of Catechesis and Evangelization, leading the organizations initiatives in creating a third library. Evidencing her dedication to both her personal and professional endeavors, Therese was awarded ‘Woman of the Year’ by the National Association of Professional Women in 2012.
