About Tango Caminito
Founders of the Tango Caminito Dance School., Inc, (non profit 501 C3), Tango Argentine Certified Dance Instructors, DANCE EDUCATORS, Elena and Dr.Victor Pankey are well known for their classical style of dancing and teaching traditional, social, authentic Tango Argentine Authentic (saloon) style, as well as for spectacular theatrical stage shows. They have been teaching and performing throughout USA, Mexico, on the cruise ships around the world.
Their main private eminent tango course is for couples and done as dance therapy (private).
Elena fundamentally and persistently was trained with the best Tango Masters of the world, finished Tango Choreography and Master classes, passed a special professional test, and obtained a Professional Tango Teacher Diploma. Also, Elena and Victor are teaching also how to dance and enjoy Cha-Cha, Swing, Rumba, Waltz, Bolero, Salsa, Merengue, and have fun.
Elena is Greek, originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. She finished prestigious Leningrad University as the philologist-linguist. Elena also studied character dance, ballet, music (accordion), acting. She has more than 40 years of job experience in many different areas of art, journalism, cinematography and dancing. Living in CA, her main hobby is writing, traveling, teaching, performing, dancing tango, and other dances.
Dr. Victor enjoyed flying, traveling, theater, opera; played a clarinet, loves music, has good sense of rhythm, historical knowledge and understanding of Tango dance movements. Victor feels that Tango is an exciting and challenging dance, which improves life, body balance, relationships, and teaches how to listen to each other. Victor is a musical and technical director of the Tango Caminito Dance School.,Inc for special production shows.
