Hi, my name is Stephen Fellenberg (7121666); I have made contact with you through Stanford who’s who. I would like to tell you a bit about what I am doing and if there is anyway we can help each other in our endeavours it would be a great opportunity for us both. Description of our Association; Friends of the Long Lost Phasmid Inc.

 We are a small group dedicated to the saving the critically endangered stick insect Dryococelus australis. Our goal is to breed them in numbers so that we can have a population back on Lord Howe Island, and therefore we need to fund research and learn as much about this truly fascinating species and the environment and ecosystems in which they live.

To achieve these goals we will be holding Bug Shows, talks, collecting trips, looking at biodiversity and giving educational talks to primary and as we grow to high school students as well as the general public. We our currently building our new wed site which have information on the above activities and more lots move.
