About Steven Vladem
Steven is an inspiring and multifaceted individual most widely recognized as a Motivational Speaker with the Professional Speakers Bureau International and as Author of the book ‘Second Sight’. With an impressive educational background consisting of a Bachelors Degree with Honors, a Masters of Education in Mathematics, a Masters of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision, a PhD in Computer Education and a Doctor of Science in Applied Research, Steven simultaneously built an equally impressive and diverse career history.
Having previously served as the Supervisor of Program Services for the Chicago City Hall, a High School Coordinator for Computer-Assisted, a Marketing Consultant for Enoch Searle Productions and Cosmic Films Inc, and a Freelance Computer Consultant, Steven’s career path drastically changed after a life changing diagnosis that projected complete blindness. Enduring a series of cornea transplants, numerous related surgeries and extensive pain and emotional distress, Steven’s innate perseverance and zest for living life to the fullest stood as his driving force for rehabilitation and recovery, ultimately awarding him as Victor in his battle with blindness. Graced with not only continued vision, but a new outlook on the world, Steven found a new personal and professional direction leading to all of his current endeavors.
Striving to form a foundation and driving force for raising awareness on disabilities, Steven began his career as a Motivational Speaker utilizing his own experience to help others achieve the transformation of perspective he fought to attain. Extending his story to countless others, Steven also began his career as an Author, sharing his heartfelt story and triumph to encourage readers around the world. Dedicating his research to improving the odds for future patients with similar diagnosis's, Steven has discovered a series of herbal supplements that will decrease a patients chances for rejection during transplants.
Setting out on his latest venture, Steven recently joined the ranks of entrepreneurs as he begins promoting and distributing these products through his affiliation with Zija International. Evidencing his innate courage and philanthropic efforts, Steven has been recognized with an assortment of honors and awards, some of which include International Man of the Year, Grand Ambassador of Achievement and the Golden Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement.
