About Sophia Tink
With my Ikebana background, my passion for flowers and organic forms is why I was drawn to Metalsmithing and Art Clay Silver. Art Clay inspired me to sculpt my work, a welcomed addition to traditional fabrication. Being a ductile medium allowed me to create using traditional and non-traditional techniques and combining many other different mediums with it. The ability to design in 3-D, sculpt and create organic forms was what I was looking for. I wanted those viewing my work to see the very fine details that I feel are the true essence of the art piece I’ve sculpted.
I love what I do. It allowed me to merge my two passions, Art and Nature, to create unique Jewellery Art pieces.
