About Shawn Martin
40+ years ago Shawn Martin started out on the East Coast, Philadelphia,New Jersey, New York City. One day he took a drive to get out of the city, with fate coupled with irony as his guide he ended up on the opposite coast in the city of San Francisco. Discovering a distinctive energy and a quality of life he could not ignore he decided to stay a few weeks , which has turned out to be well over a decade. The fact is rarely does he finds a day that he isn't truly amazing with nature's beauty right in his backyard. OK, lets cut to the chase; "Its really a witness relocating program but don't tell anyone". As he still spend about 6- 8 weeks a year back on the East Coast as its apart of his heart & soul, more like a love/hate relationship. Shawn is an entrepreneur, at this time he is in the mode of connecting with authentic and serious Angel Investors who have vision and the ability to see past the impossibilities by embracing the possibilities. Those individuals who know ;"you don't know how far you can go, until you risk going to far". He is open to other sincere sources of capitol, that fits into the mission and values for his most recent venture a exciting stealth start-up, "Refined" Magazine online & print. As he is at the helm of this maiden voyage He is a intuitive, passionate, visionary with determination and zeal. His leadership style is that of collaboration with delegation. His expectation of those under his charge is to work with transparent communications, in a due-diligent manner with follow-up, and follow through. He takes notice of his colleagues who are accessible, strong and consistent communicators. He works well with creative input, result driven, solution oriented, individuals. His philosophy for deliverable is "excellence is the minimum standard". Shawn plays very well with others, sharing is on his daily list of things to do. He is a recent "NHL" cancer survivor. He is quite resilient with a strong spirit and a patrician demeanor. He is known for generosity and a kind heart, just never mistake his kindness as weakness. He is poised, confident, and mindful. Shawn stand firm in the belief that "no problem is as permanent is its solution" and at the end of the day, " You can have desire Results, or Reasons why I have no desired result".
