My relationship with Jesus Christ first! I was also blessed to have mentors and teachers that pushed me when I did not want to be pushed. I remember the Cosmetology teacher (Mrs. Bulter) being hard on me; and I asked her one day: Why was she so hard on me? her reply was: "I see something in you and it is my job to get it out!" I hated she knew her job so well back then; NOW I can appreciate it! I remember the other mentors (Bobby and Sharon Parker); they were there to teach me hands on business 101; Me and Bobby would bump heads a lot because I did not appreciate what he was making us to do in the salon nor did I like what he had to say back then; he would say things like: "I do not want none of you stylist sharing supplies"; naturally I would say "how can he tell us what to do with our supplies we paid for?" It was the salon policy and I did not like it! I of course MADE me be on top of my own working supplies and equipment. I certainly appreciate it NOW! I had no crutch; even when I wanted one (smile).Other influences to name a few, include: My Grandmother Leola Bryant (RIP), mother Bettie West, Pastor Jonathan and Deloris Ingram, Pastor Vaugh and Narlene McLaughlin, Pastor Harold and Rose Blackwell, and My current leaders Bishop George and Apostle Helen Saddler. I said all that to say that OTHERS had a major part in my success! I did not do it, but WE did. I appreciate those that gave of themselves and endured hardship with me to help me become the best me for the sake of others!
Future Career And Business Goals :
Entrepreneurship!!! The future goals are to establish businesses to create jobs, to help others who are currently working to obtain financial support through grants (successful grant writer), to mentor and teach those that are interested in Recording Gospel music, writing books, inventions, and business through Novice Production Ministries which is a non-profit organization.
