About Melinda Farris
My experience in non-profit work began when I was living in Russia. Initially, I worked for a Russian non-profit organization, and then took a position with an American NGO's Moscow office. After three years working on professional and educational exchange programs, I moved to a communications manager position at the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
Upon returning to the United States, I took the communications director position with the International Association of Operative Millers. In 2007, I was promoted to executive vice president. The job affords me the opportunity to work in the international arena, and manage programs that elevate the skills and knowledge of milling industry professionals around the world.
