About Mario Battista
Mario Battista, B.Ed (Univ. of Montreal)
I am a business development specialist with exceptional marketing and promotional skills residing in Toronto, Ontario. After pursuing a career in Education, in Montreal, I joined the Xerox Corporation, where I spent most of my early sales and marketing career. Subsequently, I held senior marketing positions, across Canada, with such firms as NCR, Savin, and Victor Technologies.
Along the way, I was responsible for the creation of the Montreal Professional Sales Training Center, the Sales Management Software System for Sona's first Natural Language Inquiry Software System, the Vancouver Software Center for high-tech start-ups, Vita Biomed to manufacture exercise equipment off-shore, the Surrey Film Studio and Film Tank, the Millennium Square Project and the 2004 Fraser Valley Showdown, a new multi-sports event for those 55+.
For the past 15 years, I have focused my consultancy on creating marketing tools to support mega real estate development projects within the tourism, film industry and non-profit sectors.
I am an active member of the Union of British Columbia Performers, ACTRA and a past member of IATSE Local 891, and have gained significant experience working on more than 900 TV, Film, and Commercial productions.
A very eager volunteer, I am a past Director of the BC Seniors Games Society, where I focused on Lawn Bowling, Marketing and Internet communications.
I like to get the job done with the utmost efficiency and am known for my old fashioned work ethics. High energy and a competitive spirit are my hallmark. []
