About John Harkin
From a very early age growing up in the country with a dog always by my side it became apparent that I had a wonderful bond with dogs, so it is not surprising that working with dogs became my full time chosen profession.
Over the past 32 years I have trained numerous instructors, handlers, puppies, adolescent and adult dogs in Australia and internationally.
My expertise has taken me to countries such as Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. Most of my training involved dogs with behavioural problems and very dominant dogs which were used in security and law enforcement.
I also run AUSDOG operating throughout Melbourne, providing at home training for puppies, adolescent and Adult dogs. Specialising in behavioural problems and educating owners including children how to care for and and train their companion dogs.
