About John Deleo
My family has been in the food service industry since 1950 owning several restaurants since then. I had always been interested in cooking since a little boy. I can remember making ravioli at the age of 8 with my mom and even chocolate pepper cookies with my grandmother.
I decided to branch out in the mid 1990's into the catering end of the food business. I started in our first year doing just 20 parties. We hit a record high in 2008 with over 400 events catered total both off site and in combination with our on premise business at our new location where we have purchased and remodeled a local tavern and can seat 80 people.
I am hopeful to involve my 13 year old son Angelo into our business so our name and reputation will be carried on. He is now a dish washer for us and does a great job helping out. He shows alot of curiosity and interest in food prep and especially in different flavors he is just now discovering and starting to enjoy more and more as he matures.
My wife Kathy is also a very big part of our success. Without her we would never be where we are at today. She not only waitress's for us and goes on deliveries but she handles all our fianances. I would never have kept up with all the different facits of running this business and she is a big reason I can do the job I do.
