About Jerry Hale
I was born in Texas USA to a poor share cropper family. My Dad felt God's call to move to Canada to start a Baptist Church. So, when I was 16 so we moved to Worsley, Alberta, Can. I met the girl of my dreams and we married when I had just turned 19 and she 17. We celebrated 50 years together last Oct. With God's help we have raised 5 wonderful, Manny, Darla, Lisa, Stanford & Annabelle. Today we are so blessed to have 15 Grand children & 7 Great Grand children.
I know what it means to live in a tent in the frigid -45 cold winter while making a living clearing siesmic and pipelines with a chain saw.
I have always been an avid lover of nature and the great outdoors. My wife & I have guided several people from the US on numerous successful moose hunts.
When we lost our farm to the bank a few years ago we moved to the beautiful mountains in Northern British Columbia. Here we managed to buy an old run down Tourist Resort and with God's help and lots of hard work we were able to built it up into a paying business and one of the most popular and busy places on the Stewart Cassiar Highway.
It was a wonderful opportunity for us and our family who came to visit to enjoy the beauty of God's creation. We were close to good wild rainbow trout fishing and good moose hunting territory.
In 2009 we were able to sell the Tatogga Lake Resort and move back to Alberta. In 2003 we were able to buy our farm back and have had many happy days since then.
