About Heather Wilmore
I started my road in healthcare at the age of 15 when I volunteered at a local hospital in the emergency department. From there I went on to attend Baylor University in Waco to become a medical doctor. At the end of undergraduate I decided to change my career path and become a nurse. I was in the nursing field for 6 years. I was a pediatric intensive care nurse and ground/flight transport nurse for Texas Children's Hospital for a few years. After nursing for awhile I wanted more growth and challenge. I decided to attend dental school after a visit to my personal dentist. In 2003 I started dental school at the Universityof Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. In May of 2007 I graduated and 5 months later I started working on starting my own dental practice. My private dental practice has been open for a little of 2 years now and growning. I also provide dental care at a Medicaid clinic part time.
My hobbies are reading, traveling and most of all, spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Harley and Kingston.
