I am a woman that gets involved with helping people and charities with fundraising and the giving of my time. i look after a disadvantaged child once a month for a weekend. This is done by volunteering my time to an organisation called Aunties and Uncles.
Three years ago i travelled to West Africa to volunteer on a hospital ship for five weeks. This was an amazing experience that made me appreciate everything i have as i saw such poverty.
My faith is important to me too. This gives me values to live by whether in business or my personal life.

Description of our Association; Friends of the Long Lost Phasmid Inc.
We are a small group dedicated to the saving the critically endangered stick insect Dryococelus australis. Our goal is to breed them in numbers so that we can have a population back on Lord Howe Island, and therefore we need to fund research and learn as much about this truly fascinating species and the environment and ecosystems in which they live.
To achieve these goals we will be holding Bug Shows, talks, collecting trips, looking at biodiversity and giving educational talks to primary and as we grow to high school students as well as the general public. We our currently building our new wed site which have information on the above activities and more lots move.
