Dr. Frank L. Harper, Jr., PhD, PMP, PgMP, SSGB, ITIL, an entrepreneur and world renowned program/project management consultant has held various leadership roles resulting in the formulation and execution of strategic programs for businesses [large, mid-sized, and small] and governments [international, federal, state, city] to achieve their strategic objectives. He is adept at delivering business process improvement, collaborative program & project management, appropriate enterprise architecture, effective process automation, and efficient operations. During the course of a 30+ year career, Dr. Harper has been a guest speaker and corporate trainer. He has been featured in various magazines, journals, newspapers, for his trailblazing success in delivering technology and training solutions. He has been recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the leading project management organization in the world for his efforts leading a global virtual team responsible for insuring the quality of PMI’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3)-a maturity model to help organizations translate strategy into successful outcomes consistently and predictably. His cross-industry thought leading ideas have influenced the process improvement, technology, and training decisions in over 2,000 companies worldwide, with combined budgets over $US 5 Billion generating revenues over $30 Billion.
A philanthropist, Dr. Harper has been recognized by international, federal, state, city, and local leaders for his numerous acts of kindness. He is a former board member to the Georgia School Age Care Association.
A former high school/college athlete, 4-year old Sunday school teacher, product of public housing and a life-time member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Dr. Harper earned a PhD in Administration and Management, with Distinction, from Columbia Commonwealth University. He holds a MBA in Marketing, MS in Industrial Engineering, and Bachelor’s in Computer Technology (Cum Laude) from the University of New Haven. He is also a Yale University Ulysses S. Grant Foundation graduate, holding certifications in: Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), IT Service Management (ITIL) and Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB). Dr. Harper has appeared in numerous Who’s Who [High School, College, Professional, and Executive] publications.
He is currently writing his first book entitled, "A.G.I.L.E. L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P. with a G.R.I.P.".
