About Dom Muscedere
My name is Dom Muscedere, born in ATINA Italy and emigrating to Australia at the age of 5. I studied at Belmont College and entered University to follow a Bachelor of Business and Economics in 1981.
After just one semester I realised my interests were not to become an accountant and I joined the Thompson Kelly and Lewis Group (now Flowserve) as a trainee in Pump Engineered Sales. The career path was exciting and I found the world of pumps to be a fascinating dynamic industry with multi-faceted interests. I studied and absorbed all there was to learn over the first 10 years.
In 1991 at the young age of 28, I commenced my own business called Pumpcare Sales and Service in Kalgoorlie, a well recognised town with over 100 years of Gold mining at its heart. My interest in Pump engineering and Mining was forever sealed and since those humble beginnings I have travelled and provided technical advice to many mining clients as far as Ghana, Zambia, Indonesia and other parts of the globe.
Today I manage a small but dynamic and talented team servicing the needs of our customers at a global level as well as within the Australia market.
Recently in 2007 the SES Group with over 300 employees, purchased a majority share in Pumpcare International and became part of a much larger organisation servicing an even larger network.
As the Managing Director of the SES Pumpcare International Division, the work is often challenging however regardless of the changes in economic conditions I always rely on my past experience and ensuring our number one priority is excellent customer service at all times.
My philosphy is simply... be passionate about what you do, be daring enough to think outside the square, and as long as you satisfy your customers' needs and wants each and every time without exceptions, then success will follow you...
