My career experience has allowed me to understand many industries which I feel has been a strength and benefit to me in building business, sales teams, developing sales and marketing programs, opening new channels of distribution, developing new products and launching/building brands to the consumer market.
Because of my industrie experiences, I have had the opportunity to sell and develop relationships with almost every channel of retail consumer distribution from department stores, mass merchandisers (JCP, Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) warehouse clubs, internet companies, office products, hardware/home centers, national jewelry chains, AAFES military exchange, premium/incentive, QVC, ShopNBC, national hotel chains, drug chains and more.
Entrepreneurial: My experience includes the successful launch of a joint venture start-up company which I created a new market idea for the Hospitality industry "In-Room Coffee" with revenue growth of over $22 million in just seven years and became the number one requested guest amenity.
My skills include strategin decision making with strong analytical skills, extensive team building with a visionary leadership style and management of direct (national/regional managers). independent sales reps and management of 75 field merchadisers. I have had P&L responsibilities for over a $130 million division with a $14.5 million departmental budget.
