Born in Atlanta, Ga. 1956-60, Southern Baptist ministers daughter, (currently is nondenominational Messianic Christian) her mother is a founder for "Little Children of the World" orphanage. Crystal was raised in Toledo/Perrysburg, Ohio 23 years. Formerly a local, state, and national Beauty Pageant winner 1970's to 80's, also judging and directing Beauty Pageants in Ohio. Graduated from BGSU 1979. Worked for NCR 2 years. Moved to Houston, Texas in 1982, married Claude Hedspeth Jr., (HS Jazz Band Director, 29 years, Lamar CISD, KATY ISD) in 1986, having 4 children, Destinee 86, Houston 88, Jazz 89, and Hailey 91. Spent 15 years in Executive Regional Sales for Consumers Utilities Service Co. Wrote "Jesus Is Our Star", manufacturing the "Star of Jesus" Jewelry, 2001 www.starfojesus.com, producing a cable television show called "TELL" for 2 years. Ran sales and Marketing for Destiny Software (owned by husband) in the 90's. In 2007 launched National Entertainment Discount Service Co. "NEDSCO" www.nedsco.com to advertise local merchants to the school market, and creating fundraisers to support local after school programs, particularly the Arts. Next year starting a local talent competition under the name, "NEXT STAR".
