Chyrel accepted Christ at nine years old, while a member of Baptist Temple Missionary Baptist Church. She stopped serving God and attending for a while because of ridicule that she received from members of a church she attended during her teenage years. However, in 1994, she started a new relationship with God when she joined Gethsemane Christian Love Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. LC Jackson. She was a member there until 2009. While a member, she was a member of the Pastor Aid and President of The Radio/TV ministry. She is now under the leadership of Minster Ethel and Pastor Donald Rucker at Christian Development Center.
She loves and is devoted to her family. Ms. Chyrel is the oldest of three sisters. She is mother of one daughter and the grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren.
