Sadrajeya Support Services started operations in 2007 as a 'one stop' services provider with expertise and experience in providing total support to the marine and offshore industry. Sadrajeya is a maritime consultancy and project manager providing marine consultancy for numerous projects, manage projects for marine operations, docking of vessels and rigs, handle disable vessel from towage to docking, supply marine products and spares, provide diving services, supply fuel oil and lubricants, provide man power supply for rigs & offshore work, and chartering of Tug & barges to the ports, harbours as well as the oil and gas sector.

More About me :

Capt D'Raj is the Managing Director of Sadrajeya Support Services Sdn Bhd, a company delivering a comprehensive array of services and solutions to clients in the Marine and Offshore industries on a global scale.

With an established background of working in the shipyard industry, Captain D’Raj eventually became involved with the oil and gas majors.  He shares, “They used my expertise for numerous jobs over and above my line of duty. I realized then that I have what it takes to venture on my own.” 

Much knowledge and experience was gained from the numerous rigs and offshore project handling, namely load outs, docking of all types of rigs, managing the tow of rigs and project cargoes. Load out of rigs for wet tow as well as dry tow. Skidding and heavy lift loading.

Establishing the company in 2007, Capt D'Raj started doing consultancy and project management work. He started the business from a Home office, developing into a proper office, and currently maintains his own office in a commercial centre near the port and shipyard. While maintaining old strategic relationships the Captain started with harbor tows and load out of rig, and project cargoes. Also arranging for ocean tows of drill barges, he then became involved in dredging and channel deepening.

Captain D’Raj’s expertise in chartering and carriage gave an added value to ensuring the clients understand and appreciate the whole process. He finds tugs, barges and assists in securing good shipping agents and forwarders for client goods. His services include professional class divers, uwild' CCTV surveys or underwater inspections, repairs, hot work and NDT. Further he also arrange for sea bed side scan sonar surveys, bathymetric surveys and sea bed probe by divers.

Capt D’Raj completed the first full real time simulation and risk assessment for developing the yard with a local maritime college. He is also involved in the yard development and new building of piers and jetty.

From the start of his own company 'Sadrajeya Support Services", Capt D’Raj has strived to excel in the marine consultancy and project management fields.  He also has experience in handling Marine Risk Assessment studies and consultancy work for waterways such as the Malaysia/Singapore West Johor Straits.

His past consultancy work;

2002 - 2004: Experience in marine consultancy for The government of Mynmar for the 'Salween' River logistics planning. Spend three trips in Mynmar working with the local Military regime and French engineers to determine the 'Salween" river suitability for logistics transport by barges and tugs purpose.

2004-2006 : Experience in Marine consultancy for terminal suitability programs in Acheh, Sumatra Indonesia, Also in Makassar, Sulewesi and Krabi, Thailand.

2008-2009 : Experience in Marine consultancy for terminal and yard suitable for take over in Ramunia, Malaysia.

2011-2012 : Experience in Marine consultancy for 'Marine Risk Assessment' study and proposal at West Johor Straits fronting Singapore and Malaysia.

2012         : Carried out successfully Rig moves first time at Pipavav, Shipyard in Gujarat, India. Transocean Rig Randolph Yost both for Docking & undocking.

Capt D’Raj has invested in securing small barges, tugs boats and diving operations to further add in their support services to the industry. He has expanded the business into coastal diving operations and underwater repairs, working towards deep sea diving operations as well. Under Capt D’Raj’s direction the company started fuel oil trading and supplying fuel and lubricant supplies to further enhance the scope of their services. He also owns "Southern Oil (M) Sdn Bhd" the oil trading arm of his services.

Lately, the Captain has been allocating his time and resources to further Sadrajeya's involvement in oil separation and oil recovery from sludge. He states, “We are working towards CIP (Cleaning In Place). We are investing to have horizontal decanters, centrifuge for solid liquid separation, and vertical centrifuge for liquid-liquid separation whilst taking jobs involving crude oil tank cleaning.”

Capt D’Raj has working experiences with world class companies like MISC (Malaysian International Shipping Corp), Blue Circle Cement and Lafarge Cement Industries, Petronas/Malaysian Marine and Heavy Engineering. Working in the shipyard has given the Captain the exposure of the Maritime and heavy industry for nearly three decades. He counts this exposure amongst some of his greatest achievements which also include experience with taking contracts for oil & gas major players like Transocean, Petronas, Technip, Atlantic Marine Services, SBM, Exxon Mobil, Saipem Leighton and JDC etc., for numerous off shore projects and load outs.

Capt D'Raj is affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and extends his knowledge to other professionals as a visiting Lecturer for logistics and transport subjects in varies colleges.
