About Alan Greggo
While spending a large portion of my career in publicly traded corporations I have ventured out to be my own boss with Profit Rx. I have learned a lot about business and leadership through my experiences. I've attended Leadership Challenge workshops to master principle centered leadership. It is important that one be a self starter, motivator and collaborator in any business. Another key to success is integrity as applied to doing business and to life in general. I firmly believe in all of this.
I have been very involved in the OneSight organization that gives the gift of sight to people at the local level, nationally and worldwide. I am an alumni of clinics in Sucre, Bolivia in 2003 and Chachoengsao, Thailand in 2008. We gave eye exams and free eyeglasses to approximately 20,000 people on each mission. Giving back is a humbling and educational experience. I continue to find ways to support OneSight financially and at the local level.
I have been published in Security Management, Loss Prevention and Retail Construction Magazines. I am a chapter contributor in "Computer Fraud Casebook" written by Dr. Joseph Wells, founder of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. My own co-authored book will be released in October 2010: "Retail Security: Loss Prevention Solutions"
